It
all started in 1913 with a man named Albert E. LePage. A Canadian.
Albert LePage revolutionized the real estate industry in this
country by
turning buying and selling homes into an accessible and professional enterprise.
By the time he retired in 1953, Mr.LePage had moved the company beyond the residential
market and into home building and the subdivision and sale of estates.
Albert E. LePage began with a vision of what a company should represent: impeccable
professionalism, principled conduct and the highest moral and ethical standards.
Today, more than 80 years later, these principles still guide Royal LePage.
Royal LePage is the largest Canadian, publicly owned national full-service real
estate brokerage business with over 9,000 employees and sales representatives
in residential, commercial and Franchise Brands network offices from coast to
coast.
Representing approximately 80% of Royal LePage's business is in the residential
division. The remainder is comprised from commercial sales, relocation
services and property appraisals.
For those who define success by recognition, you should know that Royal LePage
is the industry leader when it comes to identifying and analyzing Canadian
real estate trends. They publish The Survey of Canadian House Prices and
the Annual Market Survey, tools that everyone in the real estate industry, regardless
of the company they work for, finds indispensable. Worldwide government agencies,
corporations and the media also use these directories as resources. Royal
LePage launched a bilingual Internet Web Site, www.royallepage.ca, in October of
1995, and within a year, the site had generated millions of dollars worth
of transactions. Every month, the site receives more than a million 'hits'.
Royal LePage also offers the power to access prospective buyers through their
own National Relocation Service - Canada's largest relocation company. They administrate
the transfers of over 15,000 employees per year through a solid base of over
500 corporations and government agencies.
Other benefits include: a national residential referral network further augmented
by their strategic US alliance with Genesis, North America's premier referral
network; affiliations with broker and relocation companies worldwide; a comprehensive
residential referral database and directory and Canada's largest national
commercial real estate brokerage business.
Of course, at Royal LePage, it is not just about business. From the beginning
they have also been actively involved in charitable and social causes.
In London, Royal LePage Triland has two offices strategically located to
service the northwest and the southeast end of the city. We have over 185
full time agents working for you.
